Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on 31 March 2026. It was last reviewed on 8 May 2026.

This website was last tested on 8 May 2026 against the WCAG 2.2 AA standard.

The website was tested using a combination of automated and manual testing methods, including Google Lighthouse (accessibility score: 97/100) and WAVE by WebAIM (scores ranging from 9.7 to 9.9 out of 10 across tested pages). Manual testing included keyboard-only navigation and screen reader testing using VoiceOver on macOS. A GOV.UK basic accessibility check was also completed, covering keyboard navigation, zoom to 400%, colour contrast, heading structure, link text, form labelling, and document accessibility. The checks also covered interactive controls, keyboard focusability, tab order, DOM order, focus traps, focus management, HTML5 landmarks, offscreen content, custom control labels, and ARIA roles.

Testing was carried out across the following page types: homepage, about pages, news listing and individual news articles, projects and publications (listing and individual entries), community voices, contact page, and site search results.
