Child poverty not only impacts every aspect of a child’s life, but it magnifies the impact of any intersecting needs. For our services to work for the children and families who need support the most, we need to tailor how we deliver our universal services, including preventative and early intervention family support.

Specialist Immunisation Health Visitor

Specialist Immunisation Health Visitor (SHIV): A national pilot of health visitors delivering early year vaccinations.

Piloting a monthly “one stop shop” clinic for families with young children who frequently attend UCLH’s emergency department for low-acuity issues.

Improving access to affordable school clothing while promoting sustainability and reducing inequality.

Family Hub Pregnancy Grant

Piloting an opt-out, means-tested, unconditional £500 cash grant to low-income pregnant people, in partnership with Nesta, UCL, and CNWL maternity services.
