Harnessing collective effort, experience and capability to find new solutions to child poverty and child health inequity ——
Working together for lasting change for Camden children
Our approach to partnerships reflects a shared commitment to working openly, focusing on what matters most to residents, and building partnerships that support lasting change. It is underpinned by five core themes that guide how we collaborate across sectors.
Resident and community-centred
Our work is shaped by the voices and experiences of children, young people and families. We work with communities to ensure services and solutions respond to our residents’ needs and are always accessible to the people who need them most.
Shared purpose and public benefit
We work with partners who share our commitment to improving child health equity. All partnership activity is focused on delivering meaningful, long-term benefit for Camden’s children, young people and families.
Cross-sector collaboration and contribution
We bring together partners from across the public, voluntary, community, academic and private sectors, recognising that we all have a role to play. By combining our expertise, resources and insight, we can respond more effectively to complex challenges.
Prevention and early intervention
Our focus is on addressing the root causes of poor health and inequality. We take a whole family approach, recognising the interconnected needs of children, parents and carers – to support better outcomes over the long term.
Collaboration and shared learning
We work openly with partners to test new approaches, learn from what works, and adapt our work over time. Sharing insight and evidence helps improve how services are designed and delivered across Camden. In addition to Raise Camden projects, partners across the borough are working to reduce child health inequity and improve the present and future for children and young people.
