Project description

Alongside the Council’s Estate Mission which aims to improve the health and wellbeing of estate residents, Raise Camden is partnering with the Institute of Health Equity at University College London to deliver the first ever Marmot Estates project.

The Marmot Estates project aims to improve health and wellbeing at an estate level, by using the Marmot Eight principles to identify opportunities for intervention. The interventions tested through the project will be co-designed with residents from the estates.

The project is a pilot, taking place on two estates, over approximately two years. Using a test and learn approach, the pilot will test the approach and develop a toolkit so the approach can be applied to other estates in the future.
